Duramem Elastomeric Membrane Duramem by Pecora is a cold, liquid-applied one-part membrane for waterproofing structural concrete above and below grade. Duramem cures at ambient temperatures for form a seamless, impermeable, non-deteriorating rubber membrane that allows for expansion and contraction over a wide range of temperatures. Duramem is designed to bond tenaciously tot he substrate to which it is applied, thus water connot travel laterally beneath the membrane, even if the membrane is accidently punctured. Duramem also adheres well to plywood surfaces and resists hydrostatic pressure againts it. Duramem is idealy suited for waterproofing two-course consrete slab construction of pakring garages, decks, shopping mall and plaza areas, bridge decks, and elevated sidewalks and roadways as well as roof gardens and earth shelter homes; in single-course construction for waterproofing tunnels, foundations and base slab in quarry tile and terrazzo floor installation, reflective pools and planters, as well as between the structural slab and concrete toppings of roof systems. |
